Modica Bros. Tire & Wheel Center

Me and my best friend were on a road trip when we had to stop due to low tire pressure, when we look closer at the tire we noticed it was splitting and she was close to having a blow out. I started looking for tire shops around us and after 2 failed attempts I found Modica Brothers. Caleb answered the phone and I told him what was happening and asked if he had any tires for our car, he had 2 brands and when my friend asked which was better he gave his honest opinion, he didn’t try to sell his the more expensive tire, he even told us just get to the shop safely and he would get us back on the road. When we got there Caleb was so kind and let us know it would be about an hour and a half wait but he would try for sooner. He kept checking on us and giving us updates. We were out of there in about 2 hours, we were thankful they were able to help us! We would drive to Modica again for any car needs just because of how well we were treated!

Make sure you get a written estimate before having work done here. My son took his Mercury Mariner here for new tires and an alignment. He also asked them to replace the brake pads. They completed the work, but charged $1394 for new drums, disks, pads, and shoes, and didn’t bother to call and ask for his approval or give him a quote before doing the work. The total came out to over $2500, and he was shocked when they called to tell him the car was ready and told him the bill, as was I. He doesn’t earn much, he works hard for his money, and this destroyed his savings and budget for months. This is a 2008 Mercury Mariner, not a Mercedes. They also ignored his instructions that one of his tires on the vehicle was actually a spare tire, and that he needed the bad tire in the trunk replaced. They left him with a bad tire, and replaced his spare.

Another great experience at Modica Bros. Staff was super helpful and quick at getting my brakes done and they also thoroughly checked everything else to make sure I was road ready for my trip. Will definitely be using them for my vehicle needs.

Jeff and Kaleb were awesome. Excellent Customer Service Skills. They listened and understood my problem and solved it to perfection. They work fast and also, the prices here are very reasonable as compared to a dealership for the exact same services. I definitely will always choose Modica Brothers for my tires, rims, and brake work.

I’ll preface this review with: my car was driven in without issue, and towed away for something not in relation to the reason I went. My car was taken in for an alignment and wheel balance. The car is a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000gt and a collector of mine, it’s driven less than 1000 miles a year and maintained. I called Modica on concord to ask if they could align a car that sits low, so they asked me to bring in for them to take a look. It sits really low so they referred me to the Washington location. The car was driven from Concord to Washington without any issues. In the hands of Modica, the car was driven on their lot, on to the lift, and taken off the lift by the technician who was excited about having the car in. After the alignment and balance, the same technician drives the car off property (to test it) and it stalls on him down the street. So it is brought back to the shop somehow and I am told to come get it because it would not go into gear. The car starts just fine, all mechanicals work with the clutch, except it will not move. I paid $95 to have the car towed back home because they didn’t have the expertise for that kind of maintenance per the technician and manager. I cal
